Kitchen appliance

We went looking for kitchen appliances today. The builder gave us a budget based on his standard brands (Westinghouse and Omega). Not sure which one we're going for, but still shopping. We've agreed that whichever brand we go for, we should consider that we will be using it for the next possible 10 years.
