Brick Selection

Today, we went to Austral Bricks to select our brick type and colour. Wow, we didn't realise that it's quite a process. Things to consider include the colour of gutter, window easement and roof. Forms guides to complete to help us with decision making. Walking back and fort to pick-up samples. Lots of standing and staring at the selection. Not to mention the 'deliberation' that we have to do. Good thing we did it during the day while the kids were at school. It took as nearly 2 hours, and that's just the first initial shortlist. We have to come back after picking up the kids to finalise our decision.

The verdict, we went for Metropolis Alabaster for the main brick and Topaz for the facade.
