our promised land

Here's a photo of the beginning of our exciting and challenging journey, the vacant block that we bought (OUR OWN PROMISED LAND).

We went to a project home builder today and had the first meeting. It went well I suppose although we have not signed anything yet. We told them our expectations and asked a lot of questions which the Consultant answered to the best of his abilities. For queries that needed to be addressed to someone who really knows, he dared not answer, just took note of it and told us that he will get back to us next week. We managed to look into another home builder but DH wasn't impressed with their Sales Consultant.

Then off we went to the HOMEBUYER Expo in Darling Harbour which was quite fruitful as we were able to gather more ammos for this journey.

After attending some seminars at the expo, we went home to get the kids ready for TRICK or TREAT as a reward to the deal made earlier that for them to behave during the process of house design hunting. At the end of it all, everyone in the family is satisfied.
